Web site design and maintenance

We use many tools and software packages to design a site, from Photoshop to Dreamweaver to html, php and css programming. CSS stylesheets make it possible to do style and menu changes quickly (and often if necessary) and css-based SSI (server-side include) menus allow menus to be changed site-wide in one step.

WordPress blog design

WordPress (blog) software allows you the customer to manage the content and navigation on your site. Your site can look and function like a blog, be completely static, or be a combination of the two (see the Big Woods Farm site). Blog features can also be fed into static pages as on the shotpeener.com site. WordPress offers many options and features for your site -- check out the search option, recents list and tag cloud on this recipes page.

Database design and development

Need to incorporate contact/user lists, product/pricing data, event registration, etc. into your site? We'll build a custom database-driven site, complete with web based administration for your content management, using PHP and MySQL. Take a peek at these program sessions and authors/papers pages.
